Shofars
The long spiral Shofars are part of the tradition of Yemenite Jews. Today they are used not only by Orthodox Jews, but by Christian churches all over the world. The horns originate from the Kudu, a large antelope found in Africa. In ancient times, the Shofar was blown to announce a state of war calling soldiers to battle. It also called the people of God to the Tabernacle and Temple for repentance, worship and praise to God. The Angel Gabriel will summons the Church to meet the Savior in the air for the rapture called the final trump. Click the lion shofar to hear the sound of the shofar.
